Job Description:

As an ICT Service Desk Employee, you are the first point of contact for our clients on Bonaire. You handle support requests by phone, email, or our ticket system and ensure an accurate assessment of the service request. You are responsible for independently resolving issues based on the received information. For more complex issues, you refer these to specialist colleagues. You keep clients continuously informed of the progress and priority of their support requests. If necessary, you also work on-site at the client to resolve problems. Additionally, you actively think along and contribute to improving our service processes.

The ideal candidate is someone who is fully committed and excited about ICT challenges. This person has excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Flexibility, customer orientation, and collegiality are highly valued, with a natural willingness to support colleagues. Strengths of this person include working independently and taking responsibility. Furthermore, this person shows initiative and actively contributes to improving our service processes with new ideas.

We offer you a position in a well-organized and financially stable company. In addition to a competitive salary between $2100 and $2750 gross per month (based on 40 hours), we give you the opportunity to further develop yourself through training, courses, and collaboration with specialized colleagues. Moreover, you can use a company car during working hours and receive a mobile phone and laptop for business use.

Requirements:

  • A completed MBO level 4 education in IT;
  • Experience with Powershell, Sharepoint, Teams, Intune, and Microsoft 365;
  • At least 3 years of practical experience in a similar role or as a System Administrator;
  • Thorough basic knowledge of system management, networks, and server technologies;
  • Enthusiastic, proactive attitude;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn;
  • Excellent communication skills and team-working abilities;
  • Excellent command of both Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing;
  • Good command of Papiamentu (spoken) is a plus.
